The work around a model

Changing demand or the climate year can change generation, network use and costs. The report must explain those results and the assumptions behind them.

Today, teams often compare model versions, check spreadsheets and update figures by hand. Nohm is designed to keep the data, model runs and reports linked in one study.

What AI changes

AI can help search study documents, use tools and explain model results. Emil can find data for a model, Theo can assess the costs and Lola can prepare the report using the same study information.

For a new industrial load, the team needs its location and operating hours. They can then update demand, run the model and assess the cost. A reviewer should be able to check each step and assumption.

An assistant can propose a run or draft a report. An energy expert still needs to review the plan, the results and changes that require approval.

Who builds Nohm

Terajoule Energy develops Nohm. The product began with European energy studies and is being developed for work in other regions as local data and models are added.

This site explains the product. The consulting website and the logged-in Nohm application are separate.

How we design Nohm

Results should show their inputs. The system should ask before making a consequential change. Understanding a request does not give an assistant permission to act.

We are adding features as we can test them. Ask which safeguards and capabilities are available in your deployment.

The visual identity

The Nohm mark combines the letter N with the ohm symbol. It spells Nohm in one symbol. The design keeps attention on maps, results and assistant status.
